How can the batteries in the soundbox be changed? 2 stars until that can be answered

We’re sorry your stick horse sound mechanism has stopped. You may see some responses saying the battery is in the ear, but it is manufactured inside the horse’s head/neck and is not accessible. The battery chip inside the horse’s head does have a limited life expectancy, and unfortunately there is no way to replace it. Please send us proof of purchase to info@marymeyer.com and we will be in touch soon.

My daughter used to love this hobby horse. But now she is heartbroken that the sounds have stopped. I tried to change the battery and discovered it can’t be done. Who sells a toy with batteries that can’t be changed?? We’re so disappointed.

The pony I bought my granddaughter 2 years ago only worked for about 11 months. We were hoping my grandson would be able to enjoy the pony now. Will never buy another Mary Meyer toy again!
